Do you have what it takes?

This time of year is a flurry of activity here at the Library as we gear up for orientation. Every year, first year and returning students are invited to take part in numerous branch-wide orientation workshops and tours where participants get to know the library’s people, services, resources, spaces and collections. These short, time-saving sessions are super informative and a very useful starting point for anyone looking to delve into what the library has to offer.

For the more adventurous student, the Library is once again organizing The Amazing Library Race. This race around campus will have teams of students truly discovering our library branches in the hopes of outwitting and outsmarting each other in library-related challenges. The 2013 edition promises to offer bigger obstacles, harder road blocks and cooler refreshments & prizes.

Date: Wednesday, August 28, 2013
Start time: 13:00
Duration: 90 minutes
Room: Group Study, Main Floor, Humanities & Social Sciences Library
Building/Location: Redpath Library Building, 3459 McTavish
