Adjustable Desks and Ergonomic Chairs Now Available at the Islamic Studies Library

We’re delighted to announce that the Islamic Studies Library has added four new height‑adjustable desks and four ergonomic chairs to our study space – made possible through the generous support of the Post‑Graduate Students’ Society (PGSS).

The new adjustable desks allow you to raise or lower the worksurface with a simple control panel, helping you switch seamlessly between sitting and standing. Paired with the desks are ergonomic chairs, equipped with synchro‑tilt, height‑adjustable arms, lumbar support, and a breathable mesh back – perfect for long study sessions.

You’ll find the new stations on the main floor (near the elevators, close to the Mirror Room), ready for use during opening hours.

A big thank you to the PGSS for their continued support of student-centered improvements across campus. We invite you to stop by and try the new study stations on your next visit!
